Wild Mustangs of Wyoming Pt. 2
Wild Mustangs of Wyoming Pt. 2
I think the biggest dilemma with camping with the wild horses for a week, is sifting through and editing 1000’s of images. I know….first world problems.
But here we are with Part 2 on Wild Mustangs of Wyoming, and a bunch of images to share. The beauty of these Salt Wells Creek horses is unrivaled, and I guess oversharing will be the problem of the day on this blog post. So sit back, and just enjoy the beauty of these guys, and the fabulous world they live in.

This guy. So striking with his color and markings. Not to mention those great blue eyes.

It’s really all about the family. The tight bonds they have is better than some humans can claim.

A row of beauty.

Handsome is, as handsome does. I’m a sucker for a flaxen mane.

And everyone loves a cute foal.

Some backlit beauty.

Just walking with my bird friends.

Happy little ones. So fun to watch.

So precious.

Stallion speak. You better listen up.

This image is one of my favorites for sure. Running Pair.

Then there was this guy. Massive, handsome, and clearly all about it.

I think of all the horses I saw, this stallion was my favorite. He looks so much like a Native American pony, I could just picture a warrior on his back galloping across the plains.

Water time. What a nice big pond they have to enjoy.

And finally, this image that I created. I call it “Dark Storm Coming” because not only does this portray a dark and stormy feel, but a dark storm is also on the horizon for these majestic wild mustangs. If the BLM has there way, these horses will be completely obliterated from this landscape. Brutally rounded up, to live their lives confined to a filthy pen.
These majestic wild creatures deserve so much better than that. All they want is to live wild and free with their families.

Awe, I love these! I definitely needed more time there. I think Medicine Man was my favorite too. I pray for a miracle to stop this planned roundup…
What beautiful creatures. God made these beauties for humans to enjoy. I’m praying and have called my senators and reps to complain. There’s room for these Wildies. They ARE NOT OVERPOPULATING the ranges. I’m for herd control to keep our Wild Ones healthy but not total annihilatiion of them. This is greed by the BLM and should not be allowed🇺🇸💕🐴💕🇺🇸
They are so beautiful and strong. I worry for them.
